How LAMEMA handles the personal information you send us through this website.

What we collect
The only personal information this website collects is what you type into the enquiry form on the contact page: your name, phone or WhatsApp number, email address, your message, and — if they apply to your enquiry — your dates, guest numbers, event type, or the gift items and quantities you are asking about.
Why we collect it
We use it for one purpose only: to reply to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to arrange your stay, your event or your order. The tick box on the form is how you give us permission to do that, as the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) expects.
How it reaches us
When you send the form, the details are emailed directly to info@lamema.co.za over an encrypted connection. They are not stored in a database on this website, and they are not published anywhere.
Who else sees it
Nobody. We do not sell, rent or share your details with third parties, and we do not use them for marketing unless you ask us to. Our email is handled by our hosting provider, who processes it on our behalf in order to deliver the message.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no tracking cookies, runs no advertising pixels and has no analytics that identify you. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives the standard request information (such as your IP address) that any website request involves.
How long we keep it
Enquiry emails are kept for as long as we reasonably need them to serve you and to keep our own records. If you would like your enquiry deleted, ask us and we will do it.
Your rights under POPIA
- You may ask what personal information we hold about you.
- You may ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
- You may ask us to delete it.
- You may withdraw your consent at any time.
- You may complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.
